I worked with Kate Bastow from pathway B; here are a few images from her final collection: IRIS.
Though I have thought throughout the course that I am a pathway A student: Fashion & Innovation, it gave me an insight into how the other pathway work. Kate has been working on her final collection since christmas and has used reindeer fur and sheepskin combined with lighter fabrics. The whole collection was inspired by her Grandma.
I really love her combination of colour and fur. It really is a feminine autumn/winter collection. It really did show me how differently both pathways work although I feel I can gain pattern cutting skills on pathway A if I put in the private study hours.
I definately am now able to make a more informed decision on which pathway to choose; Pathway A - Fashion & Innovation.
