For my Interdisciplinary module I really want to look at deconstruction/reconstruction in terms of recycling materials and how knitwear can change the shape of the body by using interesting shapes. I am a huge fan of Sandra Backlund, a knitwear designer from Sweden. I believe her to be more of an artist, using the body as a sculpture, rather than fashion.
