Damir Doma // Fall 11

For the Creative Design Practices module I have begun to look  at "multifunctional" menswear/womenswear garments, using the word "multifunctional" as a concept rather than a literal phrase; how menswear/womenswear are similar and can be worn in collaboration rather than dysfunction. [Shown here in Damir Doma's Fall '11 collection.]

He uses beautiful tailoring to create sharp silhouettes, often used in menswear garments. I love how minimal the garments are. They convey such femininity without exposing too much flesh or wearing high heels. The models wore creepers instead.
Ponyskin & Mongolian lamb fur are such perfect choices of fabric for Doma.
